  1. I think speech 4 went really well for our group overall. We combined ideas and bounced ideas off of one another and we blended well as a team. We never ran into struggles or difficulties about meeting up and everyone was a pleasure to work with. In terms of the overall speech I think I noticed I was fidgeting a little during the video which can be something I do when public speaking that I’m going to strive to get better at managing that urge or impulse. I liked how we had one take in our video too with little to no cuts because it felt super natural and not forced. Overall I’m happy with the groups efforts and ideas because it made it very smooth to complete speech 4!.

  2. Overall, I think we did an adequate job on speech 4; we were all prepared, and the overall video quality was good. I think the content was good and provided the viewers with a solid foundation in what our majors are and how we navigate these challenges. Some things that could’ve been improved were the editing. I think we could’ve spent more time making it more visually appealing, but did it necessarily need it? Other than that, I thought my engagement was good, I showed up when needed, did the work on time, kept my speech page 4 updated and current, and completed all the journals.

  3. I think that what went very well in our speech was that Lillian and Maddie, and I worked really well together. We had a strong plan of what we wanted to do for our speech, and we came together well and perfectly executed it. I think we picked a very good room to do our project in as well, and I was happy about the feedback we got in class. There were a few minor errors in our speech, like the captions overlapping and the credits not popping up when they were supposed to, but I think the mics we got made our voices sound very well, and I think we did a good job editing our clips together smoothly. Overall, i think our speech and our topics we chose to speak about went very well, and I hope everyone in class thought the same.

  4. Overall I think I did a really good job putting together this speech. During the speech I think I did a good job finding time to film and being able to put all the clips together and help edit the speech. It was a really fun speech to do in my group, we all did a really good job and helped each other out well. I could have memorized more the speech a little or not look at my computer. It wasn’t too noticeable but I felt that I was looking at it a little more than I wanted too. The editing went very smooth expect for the credits, we kept losing all of the words for the credit at the end and it was a hassle to do rolling credits. I am so happy we found a room with good lighting to film in and that we were all available at the same time that day to film. Overall I am really happy with the results of this speech and so grateful for my Giselle and Lillian!! I really enjoyed this class and it helped a lot with not feeling so nervous public speaking and just speaking in front of big groups. Thank you so much for everything!!!

  5. For this project, I feel that Jayden and I really nailed our “comfy” vibe for our podcast, which our classmates also noticed. I definitely think that we should have started the video earlier, as well as maybe having a commercial that’s a bit more informational. I definitely wasn’t able to edit the video to my fullest potential due to procrastination, but I still think our video turned out okay despite that. I also believe that we were able to give a lot of information to our audience, especially with the 5 fun facts about teeth. I am so proud of Jayden, I, and everybody in the class for getting through this class despite the nerves that come with delivering speeches. Everybody in this class is truly so kind and I’m so glad I got to spend this semester with you all. (:

  6. After the project I felt very good and complete. I was very pleased with the outcome of our project with my great partners Giselle, and Maddi. I think the scenenary was good and our questions were very in depth with good direct responses, and for never editing a video it came out very good. I think to work on would be editing and getting better at that but with what we had for skills came out great. Another thing I would improve on is asking maybe some more questions or fun facts or something to keep it little more entertaining and engaging. I think our organization was great and delivery was okay. I feel like for me personally it felt almost a little too on scripted so can do better for future with that. Overall, I am happy with the outcome and I enjoyed this project very much.

  7. After watching my project four video, I was very pleased with all of our work. I think the editing really helped the delivery of the video. I could hear the class finding humor in the project and also staying attentive to the video as well. I think something that can be improved was the cutting of each clip. It made me feel like there were some unprepared clips compared to some of the other videos that recorded their videos in one clip. I do not think we were not prepared, I just want the delivery to be the best it came be. I thought the organization was good because we got the heavy duty questions done first so that way we can have some humor bits towards the end. Editing this video was very fun, I enjoy doing this type of project. I think my group and I all had fun while working together, and overall I think we created a great final project.

  8. Overall, I think Speech 4 went very well compared to the other speeches I’ve delivered in class. The entire process was very smooth (draft questions, get questions from friends, answer the questions, practice together), and communication in my group was easy and open. We were able to meet a few times to work and practice together, and the final project displays that very well. Our first practice video was 11 minutes long, and none of us were confident that we’d be able to cut it down without cutting out important info. By the final version, our video was probably a little over 7 or 8 minutes, which was very close to what we needed to be at. Our final video was done in one take, and we did not have to redo it. I think personally, I could have looked up more often while the others were answering questions instead of looking at the table or my papers. We all worked well with taking on an equal amount of the project, as we all were willing to help and do what we needed to get it done. I think compared to other projects, it certainly wasn’t as involved or as creative, but with three separate majors, we didn’t know how creative we could really get while staying within the time limit and hitting each part of the rubric. Since the beginning, we’ve all been dedicated to completing the project well and efficiently, and overall, I think we definitely achieved that.

  9. As I watched my speech I definitely found places I would have changed. I was getting a little cringed out while watching because of the style pod cast we did, but then I found the goal we were trying to hit on was accomplished. Another thing I found we could have done better on was the way we sent out our information. I think this could have been improved by evelynn and I asking each other the question instead of rambling on. The things that I thought went well was how you could hear us clearly, and I loved how it made people feel comfortable while watching. I really enjoyed getting to make this speech it was a great way to connect with evelynn and get to laugh but also get our work done. It was a good mix of laughter and work.

  10. During my speech, what I thought went well was editing, I edited the video. I also think I did a good job with my lines and playing the parts i played. I also think the planning went well, I helped plan what we will need and what each character was going to need. What can be improved was. I said um to much, honestly it was probably like 3 times but I would still like to improve that. I also would like to improve the set for the video, I wish we had a better table to sit at that you could see. I also wish we could improve the interview with Dianne, it was a very pixelated video so I wish we did it in person or something. I think the audience liked the video, i wish we could’ve included the skit but we just didn’t have enough time. My mic was also a little wonky with picking up sound so I wish I could improve that as well. Overall I think my team did a good job and I really enjoyed this project!

  11. After viewing everyone’s speeches in class today, which were all AMAZING and great and unique, I feel pretty good about my groups work. I am very happy with how my groups video turned out. My group had no papers insight to read off of which was one of our goals, the only time someone was looking at a screen was on purpose for the “instagram” questions. I feel like we did a good job balancing serious and fun, we got all of our information in, but had a little fun too. Obviously, I work was not perfect, we all had a few errors or impurities in our performance. There were a few points where I was thinking “oh I should have done this and that differently”, and we could have refilmed of course, but our end result was also pretty good. I would improve the way my words flowed, and my body language. I was hoping the audience would laugh a little more. My groupmate, Madison, was so amazing and did all of our groups editing! I filmed the footage on my phone, and booked the room for filming, and I also did a lot in planning the project along with my groupmates.

  12. After delivering Speech 4, I feel like our Tooth Booth project came together better than I expected, especially considering how many steps were involved. One thing that went well was the overall organization of our content. We clearly explained what the Tooth Booth was, why it matters, and how it helps students, and I think the structure made the video easy to follow. Our planning in the production studio also paid off; the audio was clear, the lighting worked, and the shots we chose helped keep the video visually interesting. I personally feel good about my delivery; I tried to sound confident, natural, and enthusiastic about the program, and I think that showed. I also feel like Abby, Sydney, and I worked well together and shared the responsibilities evenly.
At the same time, there are things I know I could improve. I wish I had practiced my lines more because a few moments felt slightly rushed or memorized instead of natural. I also think we could have included more variety in our shots or added more examples to make the message even stronger. Editing was a challenge, and there were moments where the transitions could have been smoother. If we had more time, I would have refined the pacing and added more polish to the final cut. Overall, though, I’m proud of the project, and I feel like I grew in both my presenting and my ability to work within a team to create a final product.

  13. After completing Speech 4, I feel that our Tooth Booth project came together more successfully than I anticipated, especially considering the many steps involved in creating it. One of our strongest aspects was the organization of our content. We clearly outlined what the Tooth Booth is, why it matters, and how it benefits students, and I think that clarity made the video easy to follow. The planning we did in the production studio also paid off; our audio was clear, the lighting was effective, and the shots we selected kept the video visually engaging.
I’m also proud of my own delivery. I tried to present myself as confident, natural, and genuinely enthusiastic about the program, and I believe that came through on camera. Additionally, I feel that Hana, Abby, and I collaborated well and shared the responsibilities fairly throughout the process.
That said, there are areas I would improve. I wish I had practiced my lines more thoroughly, because a few moments felt slightly rushed or too rehearsed rather than fully natural. As a group, we also could have incorporated a wider variety of shots or added more specific examples to strengthen our message. Editing proved to be one of the more challenging parts, and there were a few transitions that could have been smoother. With additional time, I would have refined the pacing and added more polish to the final cut.
Overall, I’m proud of our project, and I feel that I grew both as a presenter and as a team member throughout this process.

  14. After the delivery of Speech 4, I felt we did a good job. Me and Keira had to meet up a couple of times to make sure we had the correct information, materials, and outline. Throughout this speech I think the details or facts were spot on. We successfully explained why we chose dental hygiene, and why someone else may want to consider it. I do believe that the interview we had with Dianne backed up our information. As she is the professional in the field, it gave a different perspective. It’s a perspective we have not faced yet. If I had to do this project again, I would try to do more of the clips in one part. I think that would maybe come off as more of a conversation. Although I think the organization was good, Keira (the interviewer) explained what the questions were and even the cut to the professional interview. Overall, this project was fun, it was different, and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

  15. After delivering speech 4, I think several things went well. I think that Tooth Talk Tuesday came out better than we plan. My delivery was clearer and more confident than I expected, and as the host, I set a good tone for the project. Our content was organized, and recording in the studio helped everything look more professional. Reviewing the clips afterward showed that our ideas flowed well and that the editing made the final version stronger. There are still things I want to improve. I could project my voice more, use fewer filler words, and slow down my pacing so I don’t rush. I also want to be more aware of my posture and facial expressions on camera. Overall, this project taught me a lot about preparation, teamwork, and speaking in a more professional setting. I’m proud of what I did, and I feel more confident moving forward.

After finishing our recorded talk show for Project 4, I can honestly say it went alot better than I expected. Once we started filming, the conversation felt pretty natural, and I think we did a good job keeping the tone friendly and not too “lecture-y,” which is important for a topic like dental hygiene. Our content was solid, and everyone seemed comfortable with their parts, so the overall flow felt pretty smooth.
That said, I think there are definitely things we could improve on. Some moments felt a little awkward, especially when we weren’t sure who should jump in next. A few transitions could’ve been cleaner, and sometimes we rushed through parts that probably needed more emphasis. I also noticed that our energy dipped here and there, which might make the audience lose interest. Editing helped cover some of that, but if we recorded again, I’d aim for more consistent pacing and maybe rehearse the timing a bit more.
Overall, I’m proud of how it turned out. We worked well together, the information was clear, and the format made the topic more fun. With a few tweaks, it could’ve been even stronger, but it was definitely a good learning experience.
