  1. I am proud of this speech. It came out very well and our team had a strong dynamic. The delivery was smooth and Casey did an outstanding job editing the video together. We organized the speech well and I think there was a good balance between Casey and me in the studio and Kassidy in the interviews. The only thing I would change is maybe to make Casey and my part less serious and scripted. Maybe add more humor and whatnot. I did enjoy this project though because we could be more creative. Overall, I think it went very well.

  2. After seeing the final draft of our speech 4 project I am very proud of the way it turned out. I think we were able to bring the ideas we brainstormed to life perfectly. Some things that worked well were the use of mini microphones and the vast group of people we interviewed which gave us a good variety of answers and made the video more interesting to watch. Some things that could’ve gone better was the volume in one part of the video which we recorded before we had the mini mics so it didn’t match up perfectly with the rest of the video but we were still able to adjust the volume so it was loud enough. I think our speech was organized well and was edited super well and the audience seemed to stay engaged and enjoyed our video.

  3. After watching our video for speech 4 I was really proud with how it came out. We worked hard to incorporate different people/interviews within the speech and I like the variety that it has. Josephine worked really hard on editing it and the video turned out really well. She added an intro with music and the pictures that popped up throughout were a great addition. We got microphones to try to make the audio sound clear throughout, which I feel like it does. The only thing that I would change is that some people had the microphone closer to their mouth or further away still making the audio sound a bit different. The audience said they stayed intrigued with the changes in scenery and liked our edits. Overall, I really enjoyed the collaboration aspect of this speech and had fun working on it.

  4. I enjoyed working on this project and I think it allowed us to be creative. I am proud of the way it turned out and it is nice to reflect on where we started from the beginning. We each contributed something unique to the project and we were all committed to it. I am happy that we changed the structure because I think it made it more organized and easier to follow with distinct co-hosts, and based on the feedback from the audience, it was a good change to make. Alyssa did a great job editing the project, Lily worked really hard to get the ad for it, and Sarah was very helpful in bringing new ideas into it. I think we could have made it a little longer, but overall between all of our hard work, I am happy with how it turned out.

  5. Overall I think my group members and I did a good job in this speech. Our planning session was really productive and we had everything laid out after our first meeting. All of our visions for this project came together very well to give us an engaging, informative, and entertaining speech/presentation. Off the top of my head I don’t think too much could’ve been improved upon other than the audio in one of the interviews because at the time we didn’t have microphones, and maybe we could’ve maybe found a way to reach out to some students that are in the school of pharmacy instead of or in addition to the pre-pharm 2’s we interviewed to get their perspective on the program from in pharmacy school. But that would have presented us with many challenges since none of us know anyone currently attending the pharmacy school but I don’t think not having them affected our speech at all. I think the reaction to our presentation was really positive and affirmed to me that we did do a pretty good job. I was in the first interview giving my perspective on the program and some info about myself, but I also edited the whole presentation with input from Maddy and Taryn, I enjoyed having a project to work on, its definitely been a bit since I’ve had a video like this to work on and I had fun with it.

  6. After watching our video in class, I think my group did a really good job overall. I felt like our talk show was well organized and followed the flow that a normal conversation would. We all spoke with good volume and pace during our recording, which helped make us sound more natural and less scripted, as well as provide good audio during the editing process. I felt that by using multiple camera angles when editing the video, we were able to get the audience to stay more engaged in our talk show. It would have been really boring to watch if our video consisted of a single shot of us just talking in front of a camera, which is why we chose to incorporate different angles and include different segments of the show. I think the time we spent brainstorming and editing really shows, and I am proud of the work my group and I did for this final project.

  7. After getting this final project done I feel really good about it! Working with my group made this project so fun and stress-free. We were able to record it all in one day too which was amazing! I think that there was a lot of good in this project! We did a great job not using a script at all and just doing this naturally. I also really liked how we set up the fake talk show and the energy shown throughout the whole thing. I was dealing with a lot of personal things the week we recorded so seeing the final thing come together and how well we did made me proud of myself and my group members! On the other hand, some things we could have done to make it better would have been maybe to make the Eadie in the Wild segment a little more uniform. Other than that I loved how this came out and I’m so proud of my group and the process we went through to get the final result!

  8. After seeing our project in class yesterday for the very first time, I can honestly say that I am proud of the way it came out. You can tell that all of us had a lot of fun working on it while at the same time, making sure we took it seriously. I think the decision of having us talk one at a time and switching people made it flow better and the adlibbed humor definitely made it seem more fun. Plus the intro and editing worked and made it seem campy and fun like how I was hoping it would come out. We did a good job connecting our majors, which were all very different from one another. I also think that the addition of the Marena on the Streets segment made it stand out a bit more and gave it more life. I think our group worked together well and we all contributed to it super well, but I think the one thing I would like to change about it is to maybe use more camera angles to make it seem much more talk show like and maybe make it seem a little less one dimensional. I think if we did something like that, it could have been even better. However, overall I think we did a really good job and made sure it came out as great as it could have. I am proud of how I have done in this class and no one can take that away from me.

  9. I was really proud of the product my group and I created. Not only did we take the project seriously and collaborate and bounce ideas off of each other, but we also had a ton of fun planning, recording, and editing. With how little we all know about how to edit videos and make tv show scripts, I think our video was done professionally, but also had enough humor to keep it entertaining. I also had a lot of fun doing the “Marena on the Streets” portion, even though the random strangers I ran up to probably didn’t. Overall, I loved being able to end this class with this project because it was fun, lighthearted, but also something different that brought us out of our comfort zones. I really enjoyed this class and I’m really glad I switched into it!

  10. After watching our speech 4 for the first time because we took only one shot and after that Marena edited the video but she sent us the video 15 minutes before class started. I was excited to see how I did. I think me and my other group members did very well and big thanks to marena who edited and also others too. While making that video we had a lot of fun together but also we worked on it seriously to make it better. In our speech I think the decision of having us talk one at a time and switching people made it flow better and the adlibbed humor definitely made it seem more fun. And also in the ending We did a good job connecting our majors, which were all very different from one another. And one thing I really liked is that we added marena on streets between our talk show that made our talk show much better. I think our group worked well together and did well in speech but one thing I would like to add is that we just needed a nice background for our talkshow to look real. But overall me and my group worked hard and we made a good talk show with our hard work and I am proud of it whatever we did in class and outside of the class.

  11. I think Speech 4 was one of the more fun ones to make. I think our final speech came out very well, and Brady did an excellent job with editing the clips together! While making our talk show we had a lot of fun, I think recording was the hardest part because it was hard to stay serious when speaking, (we had a lot of bloopers). We used multiple different camera angles to make it seem like a real talk show, and we also had the addition of a “zoom call”. I think the zoom call was one of the coolest things about our project because it seemed so real but it wasn’t. Overall me and my group worked well together to create a master piece. I am proud of us.

  12. I really am proud of the product that my group made for our final speech. Our ideas were all interesting and we were able to add to them and make them even better. I loved the editing and putting the setup together so that it looked more realistic. I was nervous to do a video at first because of how different it is in comparison to doing a speech in front of people but doing this project showed me that making videos is not all that bad. All of my members were very understanding and creative when it came to coming up with ideas. Shoutout to Kiera for having microphones that we could use and having great editing skills. As well as Eadie for being into her role as a talk show host and making the video more entertaining and interesting.

  13. I’m very proud of the effort my group put forward and how our project turned out. We did a great job communicating and working together in order to make this project work seamlessly for the three of us. I was very happy to see the last project was a video project because I knew I could bring the video skills I learned from previous classes to our project. I had a great time editing and filming our project and stella and Kassidy did great with the scrip and in their videos. All in all, I’m proud of our group and very happy with the end result.

  14. After seeing the presentation of our final speech, I think that it went pretty well. I think that my group and I did a very good job communicating with each other as well as sharing our ideas, even if they weren’t the best. I feel that the editing portion of the project could have been communicated a little better but otherwise I loved the final result. I definitely feel that I have branched out of my comfort zone a little more since this project and since the beginning of this class. I have more to work on, but seeing myself in the final project, I can see that I have grown not just as a person but also as a speaker. My group and I put in a lot of effort and I feel that it paid off.

  15. After watching our final project in class, I am very proud of it. I think it came together very well. From the dry runs to this final project, it was very evident the work we put in. I think the interview helped move along the major talk on the nutrition side. I also think we were able to incorporate Brady’s major well with the responses. Another positive was the camera angles aspect. I feel like this broke up our project nicely and was a very good touch. Overall I am very happy with out final product.
